IOSA* registration: experts service for the airplane preparation
The preparation to the IOSA registration is compulsory in order to be included in the IOSA Registry
The IOSA registration allows the airplane to be directly included in the Code Share agreements with the other airlines interested. The registration takes place once an audit has been carried out by a IATA Accredit Organization that verifies more than one thousand standards listed in the international requirements, such as FAA, EASA, CASE e DOD just to mention some.
Recipients
All airlines for passenger and goods transport
The code shares are usually defined by passengers airlines, but the IOSA registration process also involves the cargo airlines because the wet lease processes are simpler, especially with non-EU carriers.
The process also involves the low cost air carriers which, through the registration, obtain a world visibility that improves the reputation in the air freight sector.
Objectives of the verification
To check that the air carrier operator has all the normative and operational requirements needed for the IOSA registration in the following operational areas:
Corporate Organisation and Management Systems (ORG)
Flight Operations (FLT)
Operational Control – Flight Dispatch (DSP)
Aircraft Engineering and Maintenance (MNT)
Cabin Operations (CAB)
Ground Handling (GRH)
Cargo Operations (CGO)
Operational Security (SEC)
