Minimum requirements for Dangerous Goods by Air training curricula

According to the ENAC (Italian CAA) Regulation for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air, transposition of ICAO T. I. – Technical Instructions for  “The Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air”  and the manual IATA DGR – Dangerous Goods Regulations, all those involved in air transport MUST compulsorilyreceive certified training.

All workers in the industry are profiled according to the tasks performed and the minimum contents of mandatory training are detailed in Chapter 4 ICAO in TABLE 1-4 and TABLE 1-5 ICAO, IATA DGR respectively taken in TABLE1.5.A and IATA DGR TABLE 1.5.B

The obligations addressed to operators of certain categories (from 8 to 11) are differentiated if they DO NOT carry orhandle dangerous goods, and are therefore expected to get “Awareness” training – understood as awareness andknowledge of the subject.
